Travel Grants

The conference organisers are glad to offer 10 travel grants to Early Career Researchers (ECR) and 10 to residents of low- or middle-income country (LMIC). These grants not only secure full registration to the conference, but also include a travel allowance to help offset travel and accommodation costs of attending GAMRIC onsite. It is important to note that the travel allowance is exclusively available to awardees who participate onsite.

Eligibility criteria

  • Onsite participation
  • Accepted abstract
  • The applicant must be an Early Career Researcher.
  • Early Career Researchers must provide proof of being a researcher within 10 years of PhD or equivalent professional training, or within 6 years of first professional appointment within the AMR field.
  • The Grant will cover the Registration fee + 500 EUR (€).

Selection

The main selection criteria will be based on the scoring of the abstract.

  • Onsite participation
  • The applicant must be a resident of a low- or -middle-income country (LMIC).
  • LMIC applicants must reside and work in one of the listed LMICs and upload a proof of LMIC-residency in English. This can include one of the following: employment contract/proof from employer or university, proof of residency in an LMIC no older than one year, a copy of home rental contract in your name (document must be dated within the last year), or a phone/utility bill in your name (document must be dated within the last year). Please note copy of the passport is not sufficient.
  • The Grant will cover the Registration fee + 1300 EUR (€).

Selection

The motivational letter is a prerequisite, priority is then given to early career researchers from LMIC and to abstract presenters.
